I've tried to play the game twice now, and each time when I finish and exit the game, I can't find my disk drives and files listed under windows explorer can't be opened. If I try to open a file, it tells me it can't find the address of the file.

Any ideas, or more money wasted at GOG which does not honor it's refund policy?

I'm using Win 7 64bit.
Zandolf - can you send me your log file? It is located in the "Log" folder in the game install folder. A single file named "S3DClient.log" - send that to support@stellartactics.com.

Also, this sounds like a drive or hardware failure. You may want to run some diagnostics on your memory, drive and system including checking that the latest drivers for your hardware are installed. GOG and the game itself will not cause issues like this.

So a few questions:

How much RAM do you have?

What kind of video card and how much VRAM?

Are your sound card/on board sound drivers up to date?

Are you using a physical or SSD drive?

I have 8 gigs of RAM

video card gforce GTX 970 w/ 4 gigs VRAM

on board sound drivers, Dated 8/26/2019. checked , they are up to date.

will check my equipment. I really hope you're wrong!

I sent the file you requested a few minutes ago. good luck. I got a refund, so if there's anything else you need, please let me know. I need to delete the game as I now longer have a license Thanks..

I just remembered that I have been getting this error message on boot, it says a file is missing in windows/system called nvspcap64.dll. It is an nvida file. I've tried to update the file, but no success.

I ran chkdsk on all the drives and ran Glary utilities 5. Only some directory errors, but that's pretty standard for these utilities.

I have no issues with the game, it looks pretty cool, reminds me of Omnitrend's Breach games which I really enjoyed. But this only happened when I played and exited the game.

Good luck to you and the game.
