As soon as I install the game and try to launch it, I get the following error: "Init failed, could not load the game. There is no game file or the game file is corrupted." Downloaded the game both manually and via Galaxy. Has anyone else gotten the same error?

Hi there,

Can you check that you have OPENGL 2.0 on your graphics card.
That is the main culprit for this error. There are several other things that could cause this.

1)Ensure that your graphics settings are set to 32 bit colour on your desktop.

2)Try run the game in compatibility mode (right click, look for Windows XP sp3)

Finally, you can check what is causing the crash by opening messages.log -

PC Users: (REPLACE USERNAME WITH YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME, YOU CAN GET IT BY TYPING %APPDATA% INTO EXPLORER)
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\The Brotherhood\Stasis\

Check out this thread for a few more things that you can check and be sure to let me know!

Hi Nic,

Thanks a lot for your fast reply! Installing new drivers for my video card solved the issue.
