I heard about a patch that was out but when I tried to install the one listed as 1.0.1b it said my game already had that installed. Is there another further update that fixes a lot of issues?

One thing I noticed is that the slug apartments often crashed my game so I could no longer play because someone somewhere built one or maybe they did something else since I wasn't able to see. I just discovered it that one game when building it over and over and kept crashing.

I'm not really sure what happens when my game crashes. It's usually very random and sometimes I can't even fix it by just going back and doing something different, as an NPC did something to force the crash. I like to play long slow games, I was in game for almost 17 hours the other day, though that's including all the time spent going back in after a crash or something. The game will just randomly pop up the "stopped responding" window and then close after "sending a report". So it really gives me no detail at all on what caused it.

This is my specs; asus.com/ROG_ROG/G74SX/#specifications
Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel® Core™ i7 2630QM Processor (2.2GHz Turbo 3.1GHz)
DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM (the 4 slot version) with 8GB RAM
17.3" 16:9 HD+ (1600x900)
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560M 2GB GDDR5 VRAM

So any way of finding out what's been crashing my game and how to possibly make a fix? Or any updates floating around that I don't know about that may already fix some of these? My screen flickers randomly still even with render method in Blit too. Just not as often. Rather annoying, and if I minimize for some reason, I come back to the game doing this freaking out black line thing that's like a TV that can't fully find signal. Just thick black diagnalish lines going down over my screen with bits of game behind them so you can sorta somewhat see what you are doing. It's enough for me to slowly navigate to the options, video, and click anything to make it refresh the video to stop the lines so I can see what I'm doing.

Rather like the game. Wish there was an easy way to do multiplayer without using ad infested Game Ranger and without using 5 person max network screwy Hamachi. :/ Someone should make Startopia 2!

EDIT: Oh I get it, I can't have links in my post otherwise you refuse to let me post. Wow. Good job on making sure I knew that forum staff. Good job.... </sarcasm>
