My other thread of this topic disappeared when I tried to edit my post. As I am new to this forum, I didn't know if gog.com were going to restore it; anyway, here it is again....
Download this mission from:
My Startopia webpage
and unzip into the /missions folder the new folder titled "Cramped". Run Startopia and play the user mission with the same name as the folder. The in-game text is in english but at the link there are files with the text in French, German, and Spanish (there is one file to replace in the /Cramped/ folder).
- 3 AI oppenets/friends, all start with 1 segment, all next to each other.
- use solely economics (research all necessary techs) or take over other races' segments, or both!
- you need to research most things; you start with no port and have to recruit from the AI players' visitors.
- you must pay 100e per resident every 5 minutes.
- final objective is to cure 50 patients. If any die, you must cure one more. Patients come in 50 at a time on ships which you can accept or refuse.
- solar flares energy increases as you make research improvements to comsensor.
- mood changes, repair rates, AI deciding whether to be hostile or friendly, etc. etc. are as a sandbox game.
- readme,txt included.
I have played most of the user missions I could find on the internet, so I avoided making any similarities with them.
