I have more than enough cells in my lockdown brig. And none of them are blocked. Yet whenever one of my security droids gets close to a criminal they display a bubble with a crossed off jail cell inside of it.

Most of the cells are unoccupied. Yet the security droids are telling me there is no room. I don't know what else the speech bubble with the jail cell with a red X over it can mean.

AHahhaahaa.haahahaha. HA.

Ha....

Ran out of energy. Buy more security droids, VAL said. You need as a many as possible, VAL said. Well I followed his advice and ran out energy. He told me I needed as many Security Scuzzers as possible and I bought as many as I could. And in doing so I ran out of power..

I had 10,410. Apparently i need more than that to keep the brig powered up. I figured i could buy extra Security Scuzzers and i'd be safe.

I think if you right click on a security skuzzer you can mess with their priorities. Make sure jailing criminals is their top priority. Also, sometimes it helps to pick up security skuzzers and drop them right next to the criminals you want them to arrest.
cells will be claimed by a droid as soon as they arrest someone, so just because a cell appears empty, does not mean it's not in use, because the droid might have arrested someone and is just on their way over.

You might want to build multiple prisons when you're starting to run out of cells, and build them at opposite ends of the station, so your droids don't have to walk as far when people run off.

Phoenixbowman: they display a bubble with a crossed off jail cell inside of it.
That symbol means they are arrested and on their way to the cells, unless it is one I have never seen before. The security scuzzer maybe displays a red X when it is temporarily waiting for the convict to start walking. The convict will only escape on the way to the cells if there is some kind of panic, such as enemy soldiers atttacking.
