I'm so happy that one of my favourite games has made it to GOG, furthermore I am quite happy that it natively supports widescreen.
The only issue I'm having is the size of the interace. With modern resolutions it is painfully small, so has anybody found a way to prevent it from scaling with the resolution?

EDIT: Actually, by lowering the resolution a bit the size is quite comfortable. God I am so happy finally playing Startopia again...

Heh well, I've never heard of this game before but I really like the genre it seems to be in and from the comments I've seen, people seem to love it. I may just buy it myself. I would also really like to know if it will run on my 1.6Ghz, 1GB RAM netbook because that would be lovely if it did. :)

The game came out in 2001. The requirements are rather low. It looks like it would have higher requirements but that is because they did an awesome job with the textures. I play the crap out of this game on a daily basis. It should run fine on your netbook.
Seems this is one of those games that work best at a slightly lower resolution than native for big screens.

I'm playing at 1280x800 on my 1920x1200 24" monitor and it looks quite nice.

Let's hope it looks just as good on my 10.1" 1024x600 netbook screen lol. Also, thanks for the replies guys. :)
