Seems like the MODs on the Steam Workshop are locked to Steam for now, so can be downloaded only if you have the game there...

PLEASE DEVS, leave Steam Workshop MODs downloadable from anonymous users !!!!

I already see a lot of good stuff in there...

As of now, the ONLY way to use the Steam Workshop MODs of "Starship Troopers: Terran Command" on the GOG version of the game is this:

UPDATED (06/2023)

1) Buy the game on Steam (no need to install it)
2) Use SteamCMD, with your steam user, to download the MODs
3) Put the MODs in the "%Documents%\My Games\Starship Troopers\Scenarios" folder for the GOG version to see them

Example of SteamCMD commands to dowload some mods:

login your_steam_user
workshop_download_item 1202130 2932595381
workshop_download_item 1202130 2932597057
workshop_download_item 1202130 2932597427
workshop_download_item 1202130 2932597682
workshop_download_item 1202130 2932597905
workshop_download_item 1202130 2944290908
quit
The first number (1202130) is fixed and identify this game.
The second number is the code for the MOD to download.

To find out what is the code for a MOD, just go on the SteamWorkshop webpage, look at the link of the mod you want to obtain, and you will see the code to use... in the next example the code to use is "2932595381"

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2932595381
After SteamCMD downloaded them, you will find the mods files in the ".\SteamCMD\steamapps\workshop\content\1202130" folder.

Just put the subfolders in the "%Documents%\My Games\Starship Troopers\Scenarios" and you will see them from the Editor in game.

Nope, When Workshop IO first went down, You could still download Anonymously or w/e the mods, but now you have to be logged in and own the game on steam.

There is also the BIG RUMOUR that steam now owns the copyright of all mods uploaded or created on the steam workshop.
In the end, I got the game on STEAM too when was on sale... so I corrected the first post, because I didn't need to install the steam version of the game to obtain the mods, I only needed my steam user to own the game to have full access to the MOD archive.
So only way is with steam. . . . . .
