I love the concept of this game. You guys did a great job. For the most part, even in EA, the game runs smoothly (I had only 1 hard crash on 2nd playthrough in 2022). I love the atmosphere of the desert mixed with the alien life & symbols. I also love the poetry & stars at night - that really adds the "star" to Starsand. You got the sand covered. I love the solar glare effect.
I have some suggestions:
1 allow us to sheath our weapons
2 the lack of sleep should do something (because we quickly figure out to travel at night)
3 use the spyglass in the story somehow
4 use the alien language in a puzzle
5 make the pyramid power source shown in the last video necessary for us to activate the gate to return home
6 make our final journey be to a strange new planet (not Earth!) thereby setting up Starsand 2 (a combo of Morrowind plus Star Trek red tropical world).
