I’ve found a fix for the New Game, and Load Game not being available. Disclaimer this game is terrible, another early access flop. Seriously, its bad :)

The game fails to create two folders with the offline installer.

Create folder called GogSaves & offlineUser in the starsand app data folder

Your path should be this
AppData/LocalLow/Tunnel Vision Studio/Starsand/GogSaves/offlineUser/

Start the game.

Wait 10 seconds

You will see New Game & Load available.

Worked for me on Linux, so guessing it will on Windows as well.

Or is Galaxy still required to be running, as some reviews claim?
