Just bought this game and when I load the game it comes to the main screen but the screen is flickring really badly. Makes it impossible to polay. I am using a 55" TV through a HDMI cable to play this game. I don't have this problem with any other game.

There's a low-level workaround in the latest builds that *might* fix flickering/blackscreen issues. If you go Stars in Shadow in GoG Galaxy, MORE->Settings->Add command line arguments and enter:

-fullscreen_border

There's a chance that any such flickering bugs will go away. If anyone has any luck with this commandline toggle, please let me know. (Thus far, to the best of my knowledge, this is a very rare bug, rare enough that it's probably not worth merging the workaround into the main branch; as it may cause to performance to suffer on some machines.)
