I love this game, but there are still bugs:
- In full screen mode, my cursor disappears.
- When I refit a ship (i.e. Destroyer) in the production cue, it won't let me select what type of destroyer I want to refit to.
- I'd like to be able to do more of the same things the AI can do in the Diplomacy screen:
_ Issue ultimatums
_ Request aid
_ Offer gifts
_ Add conditions to peace treaties
- I recently installed Dragon Age: Origins, and it reconfigured C++ during installation. Now Stars In Shadow crashes every time I click End Turn. Uninstalling Dragon Age didn't fix it. Reinstalling SiS didn't fix it. System Restore didn't fix it. System Restore with virus protection disabled didn't fix it. Can somebody PLEASE create a patch that fixes it? When it crashes, SiS offers to send a bug report, which also fails every time.

There is a beta version, though I don't think it affects anything you mention. There haven't been any updates, or signs of life from Ashdal, in a long time now. Requests for updates on the official SiS forums haven't triggered any response.

Regarding choosing the type of ship during upgrades - there's no direct way from the production screen, but in that screen if you choose "enter ship designer" instead of one of the round refit buttons, you can then use the "Hardpoints" pull-down menu to pick any existing design.

Maybe you already knew this. It's still clunky, but better than redesigning every time. It's particularly frustrating with the dinos, since their light cruisers and scout cruisers share the same hull and refit buttons.
