I own this game on steam and have just upgraded to windows 10 professional. My GPU is from AMD (R9 290) and my CPU is also an AMD (8320@4.22Ghz stock voltage OC). I poked around with the game today to set it up for a LP series I am gonna start doing recording work later on next week and I ran into an interesting issue: When I shifted the game (with everything at full in terms of video settings) from full screen 1080p to windowed 720p it caused both the writing on the menus in the game to leave a sort of shadow/lines (which would cause the text to become impossible to read in 2-3 cycles of wandering around the options menu) and the mouse cursor to streak leaving a tail of similar shadow/line graphical glitches ( also for some reason the initial loading bar, come to think of it, left a line at one corner for the screen behind ). To cut the story short (and the block of text shorter): After some poking around it seems that Anti-Aliasing is causing this issue, for me at least, and if anyone's having issues with the game under Win 10 in that, graphical glitches, vein it could be worth a try to see if shutting down AA completely from the video options (requires a game restart) will fix any such issues you guys may be having.
Thank you for reporting this, captain.

Some people experienced this, we're looking into it, but it really seems, turning of AA bypasses the problem at the moment.

As always, we would really like people with those problems to spam us with their log.txt and save games at oliver@starpointgemini.com so we can find a pattern and try to fix the issue. Of course add a short description in mail, like Win10 AA problem.

Thank you!

I've got zero issues. The difference between me and you though, is I have an Nvidia GPU; so maybe that's a cause. Anyway, just wanted to share that it's probably not a win 10 thing.
Every time a new Windows OS comes out, manufacturers need a month or two to write new drivers.

Intel, for example, published faulty graphics card driver when Win10 came out and people had BSOD and crashes, blaming it on Microsoft. Intel corrected the mistake in 3 days, but in that time millions of users had big problems with it. It's best to wait 3-6 months before upgrading to new OS, in my experience.

I upgraded to Win 10 few days ago and I don't have any problems with any games, but a month ago I probably would. ;)

I've since poked the game a bit and there seems to be a corruption issue with Win 10 and steam ( SPG1 and 2-3 other games got corrupted with the upgrade, a check of them fixed them and they work fairly well now but there's the odd hiccup but nothing to suggest a Nvidia vs AMD issue as the physx in the game is minimal and the 8 core can take it without issues ).
Ah I see. I didn't exactly try the game early on for Win 10 so it's maybe fixed by now. Don't we all love how problems like these exist? :)
It's only PC Master Race with these problems. :D

Console users don't have problems like that. If it works on one Xbox, it will work on all Xbox-es in the world. :)
