Just reporting this bug I found.
It had been described here, happened in my game in a different situation.
I went to the mission at the Maelstrom with Dr. Ridley, where I need to fend off the Stilettos while she works. On my way there, I was being chased and hit hard by enemies. Keeping track of shields and hull was confusing because it looked like the stats weren't displaying properly, which I thought was because of the EMP cloud from that region. When the mission triggered and started, I was already in a fight, which I think might have continued. At some point, shortly before or after triggering the mission, I noted I had no hull reading at all, but kept fighting. The mission ended, I won unexpectedly because I was hit with no shields several times. When I got back to a station, my hull was reading negative 2 billion and I couldn't repair it, button was greyed out.
I saved the game, loaded again. This time it read minus one hull (screen attached). I left the station and picked a fight with hostiles (screen attached), hull reading was still empty, but I was no longer invencible, I lost.
With minus one hull the game apparently can go on as usual, I could repair my hull with MO nanobots and also at the station.
