We have uploaded a new .deb/tarball combo (GOG version 1.0.0.8) with the following change:


setup was implemented, just use -sset or --settings option, e.g.:
./start -sset
gog-stargunner --settings or -sset

Kinda nit picking, but -sset defies convention. Single dash indicates a single letter option and following letters are either other options or the parameter to that option.

Since -s is already used for start, you would have to pick something else like -S.

I agree that -sset looks weird, but is it the case the -s (start) is the option and 'set' is the argument (that is, "start set[up]") which would be valid according to the link you posted.

I think only if -s set was also valid and -s [nothing] was not valid, otherwise it's ambiguous with -s -e -t
if there's any gentoo-users out there, you need libcaca for this to work. it's in portage. Just gave it a quick try now, seems to be working flawless =)
