In a past life, I seem to remember having a device, or something that gave answers to they Number Questions asked by the Probes that Orbit some Planets. If you answer wrong, they get Real Testy....

You have a 50/50 chance of answering correctly without help, either Yes or No, but I do not seem to be able to beat the odds.

How do you get past those Probes?? I usually manage to get killed by them.

By talking to various races, you learn who has built the probes. If you talk to race that built the probes, you will learn their fascination with a certain number and that helps you derive the way to determine whether a given number is a "yes" or a "no."

Read this paragraph if you just want the answer: the probes were built by the insectoid Veloxi, and the Veloxi love the number 6 ("most holy number.") Answer "YES" if the number prompted is a multiple of 6.

And now that I've posted this I see that you edited it to say you have the answer... but now everyone does!
