I just picked up the pack, and I tried to start Starflight 2, but I'm stuck and it won't run...
It starts, and I initally chose EGA, and then when choosing to start the game, It stuck with this message:

PLACE DISK WITH
SPLSHTOP.EGA INTO ANY DRIVE
AND PRESS ANY KEY

I can't get past this.
Any ideas?

Try right clicking and run in administor mode.

But that makes me question where you installed the game?

I'm running Windows 8.1, and the game installed to the following folder:
"C:\GOG Games\Starflight 1 and 2\DOSBOX".

I tried running as admin, but still the same result.

Update:
OK, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. This time in the startup menu, I chose to let the computer decide what graphics I had (option 1), I originally chose option 2 for ega, which I think caused the problem...

You got it working, good. Still it's a bit odd. Might be worthwhile to put in a ticket to support and see if the can fix whatever the initial issue is.

Go to the directory:
~/Library/Application Support/Boxer/Gamebox States/
and delete the directory:
com.gog.starflight-2

Then restart Starflight 2 and select the choice that allows the system to decide graphics settings.
