Fresh install. After the license screen it goes directly to the can't continue screem. press any key to exit.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Have looked in the Windoes Start menu, but no Reset option found. Have tried copying the files from the START folder to the PLAY folder. Have changed properties of the Launch Starflight file to Run as Administrator.

Have never successfuly started a single game. What should I try next? (Thanks in advance for any and all help.)

I assume Starflight 1.

The reset option is shown right when you start the game now (since March 2019). Press 1 to start the game, 2 to reset and start, 3 to exit.

If you are not seeing that prompt, there is something wrong with your installation.
