1.3 required a massive code rework to support multiplayer, 1.4 should be quicker and so should subsequent releases

No ETA and most he said is more stuff and quality of life improvements for both single and multiplayer but didn't give any real specifics other than one of the quality of life improvement will be if you die in the mines and you lose something valuable you can pay the Wizard Marlon to recover it for you.
