I have stardew valley since 2 years now, and never had a problem so far; but recently I decided to make a new playthrough while waiting for 1.4 to hit, and noticed I have these small freezes while walking, that happen randomly.

My computer is relatively new and the freezes are very short, but still noticeable and disturbing; tried to install the game on my laptop and the freezes are even worse there.

I've seen the various topics about the XNA: repaired, uninstalled/reinstalled, both from microsoft and from the provided files on reddit... nothing worked.

I also tried running in fullscreen instead of borderless... still nothing.

Tried a repair of the game as well from the GoG Galaxy... it downloaded some files, but still no redist folder/didn't fix the issue.

No other game is giving me issues, and I've run out of ideas... anybody experiencing this/found a solution?
