On the wiki? There is no redirection, the link directly goes to the game card. You have to download the installer from your library.

Well, of course it does, ./play.it is not going to provide you with a game copy ;)
"stardew_valley_en_1_3_28_22957.sh" is the name of the archive you are able to download from your GOG library once you bought Stardew Valley.

Doesn't this script need wine?

I have the windows version, but I'm not able to make it work with wine.

Thanks. The windows version was a gift.

I will buy this GOG version.
Update

• Use system-provided Mono runtime
What's needed to get this working on the new 1.5 update? My family is so excited about playing with this update. Is there something I can do to create an installer myself? It would help to know how these install scripts were made.

Sadly the only complete documentation we have about this right now is in French only: Tutoriel editer un script pour un jeu natif

What you would need to do for a quick and dirty is to change the content of the fields "ARCHIVE_GOG_1" and "ARCHIVE_GOG_1_MD5" in play-terraria.sh to match the current installer. A better way would be to add a full "ARCHIVE_GOG_2*" block similar to the "ARCHIVE_GOG_1*" one, and add it to the "ARCHIVES_LIST" list.

If the installer got no internal change with this game update, it might be enough. If not, please share some feedback here and I’ll try to help.

Oops, for some reason I got mixed up with Terraria…

I wrote an update adding support for Stardew Valley 1.5, the test instructions can be found on our forge: Game update: Stardew Valley - Add support for new archives. As Iʼm not at home right now I could do only a quick test, so please report anything not going as expected ;)

By the way, this patch highlight the changes required to add support for new game installers: Stardew Valley - Add support for new archives
