[Update: The labels are right now. Still waiting on 1.5.4 for Windows.]

Currently all three offline installers claim to be v. 1.5.3, but Mac and Linux download 1.5.4 instead, while Windows actually downloads 1.5.3.

I know this because I've got a Mac, and my kid's have an old Windows box and an ancient mac running Linux, respectively, so I'd been waiting for the 1.5.3 update to hit all three so I could update without any version mismatches for our multiplayer game... aaaand now I've got a version mismatch. :-/

(And yes, I know I'm doing this the hilariously hard way, but it's the computers we've got. :-P )

Seems you are right...Either they mislabeled the windows offline installers or they still haven't upload them yet...At least for once linux and mac received them fast....I just wish the developer push updates once in a while (after collecting all bugs) and not every 2-3 days...by the time we get the offline installers there is a newer version available.

Offline Installers for Windows seem to be updated now
The patch also worked this time, thanks GOG:)
I posted in another thread about being stuck with my last patch bringing me up to ver. 5.1. After that, trying to install either of the next two patches just tells me, "This patch does not support your version of the game please download a new installer". The other thread never got resolved so I just waited until GOG caught up.
When I saw this thread I thought this had happened but no, with either of the last two patches I get the same message. I downloaded the game from GOG, I have Windows 7, 64 bit. I'm wondering if I have to find my saved game files, delete my entire game and then download and install the entire newest version and then insert my saved game files.
I've been a loyal GOG customer for years and own 96 games, but I'm about to try Steam for the 1st time if I have to go through this.

Never happened anything like that on me... What I would recommend is that you uninstall your old version of stardew valley and download the newest offline installer ...Old save files should be compatible with newer version.
