throgh: That's your view, but in fact GOG is not doing the ports at all. They just host the platform and regarding the last actions I don't say they do this "good" or even "customer friendly". Talking about reasons is mostly the best way having transparency. And I don't praise groundless the actions here, for example geoblocking and the regional pricing or the so-called "optional" client, which will not stay that way. But hey: Your view, mine is another! That's okay. :-)
As I've said: I like GOG as a platform a lot. But I'll stay critical at all and don't want to relativize actions only because I like the platform. One day I login and GOG has mutated to another copy of STEAM, because the actions I've mentioned just tend in this direction.
But for now let's have fun in "Stardew Valley", because the game works like a charm on Linux. <3
murasame: Being critical is important and we all know that everything starts from the few who "dare" state the obvious and make a strong point. Thereby, I am 100% with you when it comes to pointing out how we linux users tend to be misguided by false announcements, As I've said: I like GOG as a platform a lot. But I'll stay critical at all and don't want to relativize actions only because I like the platform. One day I login and GOG has mutated to another copy of STEAM, because the actions I've mentioned just tend in this direction.

Keep up the good rant ! I'm with you ! :-)
