Yesterday I was playing multiplayer with a friend (she hosts, though don't think that matters). I went to the mines because I needed to kill some bats, while she worked back at the farm, I had space in my inventory. Killed a bat on level 85 and suddenly couldn't pick up any drops (including a diamond darn it). Before this, it was lagging on picking up drops. Since I couldn't pick up no matter how long I waited, I decided to try going down a level thinking that would "reset" the issue and I could continue as normal. I was stuck on the loading screen.

Friend and I decided to scrap the day so we wouldn't lose money or the valuable items I had on me. It was a bummer though because it was our last day to play for our session as we both had to go.

Has anyone else experienced this bug?
