Hi

I've got a Problem, I've been playing Stardew Valley 1.1 the last 2 Days without any Problems, but today I started and loaded my Savegame, the Day started normal, my Character is in bed as usual but I can't Move, none of the Keys on my Keybord is working neither WASD nor E and so on, only the Escape-Key, the Time is running as Usual and the Mouse Controll in Menu is working.

I tried to re-Install the Game but it didn't Work.

Does anyone have had a Similar Problem or know a Solution that youd be great.

Hey Atlas, you probably figured a solution, but perhaps you still need help.
Have you send a message to Eric Barone? Support?
Did you install anything, or you're playing vanilla?
Have you tried installing in a different partition (install in something different than C:)?
What happens if you start a new character? Can you move him/her normally?
You're in Windows, no? Try using the on-screen keyboard to play, just to see if it works. If it does, maybe there's something wrong with your keyboard.

Thank you for your Reply, almabrds, no I didn't report the Problem any other Support-Platform, I am Playing the Game without any Mods and on Windows 8.1, re instaling the Game to another Partion or Re-downloading the Installer haven't worked so far, neither has starting an new Game, strangely thou the whole not-able-to-move-Situation only happens irregulalry, aprox. every third starting, i believe it has something to do with my Anti-Virus (Kaspersky) because the most times the Game didn't work, the Anti-Virus was doing a Search or an Update. as it is in the Moment this nags me but it isnt a Catastrophy, again thanks a lot.

Describe your problem to them, and wait for their response.

And since you suspect of Kaspersky, try disabling/uninstalling the antivirus. See if your theory is correct. I don't have Kaspersky so I can't say if its the culprit or not.

I hope you find a solution op.

Sorry if it is too late. I had that problem because of the input language. I forgot to change it back to english and that caused the unresponsive keyboard and avatar could not get out of bed.
