I'm in the middle of fall and willie still doesn't offer the upgrade to my fishing pole. granted, I've not fished much in my game so far but I have fished some. I think I'm only level 2 or 3 with fishing. do I need to fish more or sell fish to willie to unlock the fishing pole? I've looked around to see if others were having the same problem and I'm not aware of it. seems strange.

any advice?

You have to level up your fishing skill before he starts selling more poles.

yeah I'm not focused so much on fishing but now I'm trying to knock out the community center bundles so I have to.

Or you can become a Joja member, but only do this if you have a lot of $$$.
