Hello!

So I got this dream from Grandpa that kind of freaked me out. After doing some Googling I found out that this marked the end of my playthrough. I feel a little cheated because I had no idea I was on a time limit. I thought I can just leisurely farm my way to glory without worrying about deadlines. In fact, I actually had the next few years planned out and was working on getting my golden axe. Do I get retry with this character or should I just throw in the towel?

from looking at the stardew valley wiki it says that after the evaluation from grandpa
you may continue the game normally afterward as normal

i havent gotten that far myself yet i keep restarting cuz i get bored of how my guy looks XD

You can keep playing, no problems.

If you want a new evaluation by Grandpa, you can do that too, though this may be considered a SPOILER.














Bring a diamond to Grandpa's grave on the west side of the farm and insert it. He'll show up again and re-evaluate your progress. Think it may only work until 4 candles are lit above his tomb, at which point he is satisfied.
