Is this common?

I am having the exact same problem as you... E9 error code. It said it was DLing an update but no matter what it failed. So I stupidly uninstalled which apprently gets an error problem as well and reinstalling does too.

Same here. The update failed, so I tried uninstalling. That also failed. I tried deleting the game folder and restarted GOG to try a fresh install, no luck. I'm still getting the E9 error. I even tried doing the XNA framework 4.0 refresh download that was suggested on the "known issues" page. Hope this gets fixed soon, my wife and I are excited to play split-screen!

I managed to get the big update earlier today, but I'm also having this E9 update issue show up. I wondered if it was some kind of hotfix. Seems like it must be on GOG's end if we're all having issues.

Same. I also rebooted and uninstalled trying to fix it...nope, still getting the same error.

Why is it still not fixed TWO HOURS LATER?

EDIT: Four hours! This is inexcusably poor service on GOG's part.

same thing here...probably something has to do with the hotfix that was uploaded because 1.5 worked when it first updated today.
