Does this game have achievements built-in/on Galaxy? The game creator mentioned in a blog post that he has added Steam achievements, but I can't see info about achievements of the GOG version.

(To be clear: I know caring about achievements may seem strange to some, but my younger sister asked and I couldn't find the answer.)

There does not appear to be any in Galaxy. Not sure about in the game itself though. Have not had time to play it.

You can tell if a game has achievements via GOG Galaxy on the game page listed in the "Features" section of the sidebar. See my attached images for examples (one is for Stardew Valley, the other is for The Witcher 3).


Can we get an update (from ConcernedApe) as to whether or not the GOG (Galaxy) version will get achievements?

I really want to buy this game, but lately I've been trying to move away from Steam and support developers who release their games DRM-free on GOG. But I don't want to support developers who allow the GOG version to be a second-class citizen compared to the Steam version.

I'd like to know this as well. Even if the achievements are not tracked by Galaxy, just having them in game would be good enough for me. Normally I don't concern myself with achievements, but games like this are the exception.

There's something about virtual farming and achievement hunting just go well together.

I went to the Steam forums asking about achievements. Yes, they are in the game under a sub menu. Cheers.

Yep. There is a tab that says achievements iirc.

That is what I was told, but a few users came back to say they checked it out and only 12 achievements where shown in the game menu, maybe more unlock as you progress, but that is not clear at this point. So it's probably safer to buy from Steam at this point if you consider yourself an achievement hunter. Cheers.

I wish GOG and Steam games had more parity when it comes to issues like this.

I can confirm that several of the in-game achievement stars are hidden at first, because I just unlocked a new one that wasn't even listed before. Their names match up with the Steam achievements too.

yeah in the collections tab you can find achievements. I've been unlocking stars that weren't initially there as well. :)
