I've got Mint 17.1 (Rebecca) running from a USB key on a laptop with Intel graphics and nVidia GT555M. When I try to start StarCrawlers, I get:
Set current directory to /home/mal/GOG Games/StarCrawlers/game
Found path: /home/mal/GOG Games/StarCrawlers/game/starcrawlers.x86_64
Mono path[0] = '/home/mal/GOG Games/StarCrawlers/game/starcrawlers_Data/Managed'
Mono path[1] = '/home/mal/GOG Games/StarCrawlers/game/starcrawlers_Data/Mono'
Mono config path = '/home/mal/GOG Games/StarCrawlers/game/starcrawlers_Data/Mono/etc'
displaymanager : xrandr version warning. 1.4
client has 5 screens
displaymanager screen (0)(LVDS1): 1600 x 900
Using libudev for joystick management
Importing game controller configs
then back to the prompt. I'm relatively new to Linux (set this USB key up about a year or so ago but haven't done much with it until now) so I'm a little stuck from here. Getting a report from xranr (-q -v) gets me:
xrandr program version 1.4.1

Any ideas how I can get this working? I don't currently have (and won't for a few months at least) a working Windows machine.
