So, I love crawlers a lot, and the time slot based combat system, too - but my issue is...

80% of playtime, I spend in the stats and inventory screen, comparing gear, for every single character, and being completely clueless and indecisive as to what's the best thing to go with. I feel like the game puts blinders on me, it feels restrictive and convoluted, never ever did I feel like I knew what I was doing or like I was in control in this UI.

What's more, the game has so many mechanics and things to learn and keep track of, and I usually like that a lot, but this time around it... just feels confusing, somehow. Granted, I was gone for a while now, due to not enjoying the time lost in inventory screens in between the thereby sparse gameplay, but I know I had a flow and some nice combos that I used to do - and I can't get back into it. The tool tips of the attack menu are not enough to refresh that knowledge again, and some seemed to have broken texts, too (as in, no line breaks or punctuation).

The inventory and gear comparison, at the very least, needs to change before I can continue playing - and I mean that literally, playing, this game rather than stare at it for 30 to 60 min between the very enjoyable parts...

Any tips on how to manage that stuff for someone with serious OCD...?

I had quit the game because of the UI with the software expansion, which is unpleasant when at the store.
I believe I'm in inventory and equip things, but instead I'm just byuing all and lose all money.
That's sad devs add things but don't test them enough, so the game is still worst for me.
If only they had only corrected bugs..

I popped in there for just a second with all the greeting dialogue, and almost had a heart attack as what I assumed was my inventory, was suddenly empty. I then realized it's a "backpack" rather than my inventory, whatever my inventory is supposed to be then if not a backpack, but - yeah.

The whole UI needs a major redesign, there are so many good examples out there to pull inspiration from, but for one, I'd like to have my inventory with different tabs / categories. Like the categories in Fallout, or maybe even visually with a bag and different zippers of it opening to the side to visually distinguish the categories from one another.

Also, I'd like to see my party on the same screen, with at least the most important stat changes for the currently selected item showing for all of them at once.

"What's this shield like...? Huh, red numbers for everyone in my party, so they all have something better equipped. Any upgrades or specials that may make this viable anyways...? ... nnah doesn't seem like it. Sell this one."

And for that last part, I'd like to be able to [ either / and / or ] mark items as junk to sell them all off later, manually re-sort my inventory by drag and drop, maybe even distribute items around freely. Like, put stuff to sell in the bottom right corner.

All of these things would improve the game a lot, because it lets you deal with the tedious part so efficiently that it stops being tedious, and frees up that time for more actual, fun gameplay.
