Given the complete lack of documentation, I have to ask: how do you get into the "ESC" menu (Linux version, if it makes a difference)? Or is the lack of binding for the escape key (except for exiting certain menus) a bug?

The only way I noticed was to click the "ESC" on-screen button(s). There doesn't seem to be any key binding, nor a way to create one. If I select permanent free look, there is in fact no way to get to the "ESC" menu at all when on a mission, as far as I can tell, which means I can't turn that mode off or save the game mid-mission, or save & exit when I've had enough for a while.

If your ESC key doesn't seem to be working, try resetting your preferences on the title screen under the Options menu. Let me know if that doesn't resolve the issue for you :)

Yes, that fixed ESC not bringing up the menu. I guess I should've known better than to even accidentally keep anything around from the pre-release versions of the game. I home this sort of thing doesn't continue to happen in the future.
