its in the More button for the game, click it the settings
then under Override features is a checkbox for auto updates uncheck that
now you can select any version currently available

Thank you kindly. I guess it makes sense now that I know where it is, but it is eloquently hidden when the Auto Update box is checked. Not entirely intuitive for the uninitiated to suss out. Thanks again!

Same problem here [Linux Mint 64 Bit]. I had several crashes already (instant game quits without error messages) right after i pressed the button to complete the mission. Somehow i managed to continue after restarting the game. I don't know how, maybe i started another mission?
Now i am stuck at the "Dumpster Diving" Mission for Aurora. I already beat the mission three times (there is a huge flood of strong robots at the end, i beat them all, get a lot of XP.... and the game crashes.

Shit sucks.

If you're playing on a higher difficulty remember, you can quicksave + exit just before ending the mission or getting to the last boss. At worst, you'll have to fight it again if the game crashes. At least you won't have to do the mission all over again. But yeah, sucks to have a crashing problem on a game that uses ironman rules.

as mentioned earlier in this thread rolling back to 1.0.2 should work
in galaxy click more button on the games page then settings, then turn off auto update and select teh version you want to use
word of warning you will have to start over since the 1.0.3a save wont work with 1.0.2

if you don't use galaxy install and don't use the 1.0.3 patch file at least i assume that would do it not sure if that would give you 1.0.2 or 1.0.1

Same here. After update the game is uplayable. I've seen that some people on steam have similar problems.

Hello. Do you play Starcrawlers by any chance on GoG Galaxy or without client? When I checked my logs at the evening, I found some crashes happened during Galaxy Overlay messages. Unfortunatelly I am away for a week on business trip so I cannot check to run the game with Overlay disabled in Galaxy, if that was real issue or not.

Hi. I play without Galaxy. My temporary solution was downgrading the game to previous version (using Galaxy). I played yesterday for about an hour without any problems.

I was going to buy it but I see people are still having issue with frequent random crashes. Also where is the Manual for this game? I am not putting a CENT for this game until the Random Crashes issue is fixed.

The gameplay and atmosphere in this game are great. This is the first dungeon crawler I enjoyed. But the crashes killed all the fun I had.

What is more I can save only between missions (or during mission when I'm closing the game). So the only thrill I have playing is will I be able to finish the mission or the game crashes again.

@Devs (I mean all developers in the world not only Juggernaut Games) If you don't allow me to save anytime I want make sure your game is in perfect technical condition!

I'd rather put my hard-earned money on a proven game like DUNGEONS III. It also has a Random Map Generator and NO CRASHES. The best way to punish Devs with incomplete games is with your Wallet
