Did someone buy it already? I'm a bit tempted to buy it, followed the steam forum for a bit, still I'd like to give it a chance. What I'd like to know though is if we have access to the unstable/nightly builds, you know, I want to be treated in the same manner and privileges as a steam user :) .
I have a copy on steam it is possible to get a key for the gog version?

Im wondering the same thing. A while back the game was DRM free, all you had to do is download it from Steam and then you could copy the folder in a pendrive or something like that and play it everywhere. I dont know if its still DRM free (it must be)

This is probably not the best place to ask this question. There have been cases in which devs and/or publishers did give out GOG copies of games if customers owned them on Steam (if I'm not mistaken, I think the UnEpic guys and Race The Sun's devs did it), but it's not up to GOG or Steam, it's always the devs/publishers who decide.

My advice would be to reach out to Starbound's devs and ask them directly whether they can give you a GOG copy if you already own it on Steam (you'll likely need some proof of purchase, too).

As of right now, we have no nightly build access. At least, not that I've been able to find, and I've been looking. Judging from the age of this topic we also have no admin interest in answering questions about why yet another GOG release is the least complete digital release available anywhere.

Seriously, when you offer an in-development game you ought to commit to actually giving purchasers the opportunity to, you know, follow the development cycle.
I asked it too but sadly it's not possible :/
