Just bought this game, and trying to install it via Gog Galaxy I get a warning from my antivirus that the files contain a Trojan called "Artemis!3C2AE0049E4B"

Downloaded the installation files directly, and it installs but will not run and again warns me about a Trojan in the files. Maybe my McAffee AV is mistaken, but this game won't run and I just wasted my money.

Good job guys. Really feel great about supporting this game.
If snake oil throws a tantrum, just get rid of it. There is no trojan in the game files. xD

It'd be nice if it was nothing more than smoke, but the game won't install or run. Gog's tech support if off until next week.

So there's that.
Norton (I know...) also threw a tantrum when I tried to play starbound, and deleted the exe files. I had to reinstall, and tell Norton to ignore it. Works fine now.

So your AV may have deleted some files? Maybe try a reinstall?

Check first quarantine, maybe you can take the file back without reinstalling game. You can also ask to Galaxy to check files so missing ones will be replaced. Most of all before doing anything disable your AV and add game folder as exception.
Ran the game on Linux and Windows. It's fine. Personally, I don't use ant-virus, but I know that most include a "game mode" that disables some security and lets you play most games fine. Check that.

Also, it might be corrupted because Anti-Virus is stupid.
