Everything I can find about nightly unstable releases for Starbound leads back to Steam. The launcher phoning home every time I open it is bad enough, but the ghetto-ization of the GOG version is not the "benefit" I expect to receive in exchange for such a concession. Are there plans to get nightly builds released here, or should I go ahead and request my refund?

Steam version is stable builds too . But it also provides nighly builds as opt-in beta . And those builds are not stable . So basically you don't need to worry . Everything is fine .

It's fine in the sense that I'm due a no-questions-asked refund, and I aim to claim it because I've only gotten about 5% of the product as it is available elsewhere, yes. Totally fine.
