There used to be a bunch of utility executables in the win32 folder - planet_mapgen, dump_versioned_json and pack_versioned_json {or something along those lines} that seems to be gone for me now. If you read this, can you do me a solid and see if they're present in your install, just to check if it's a GOG-specific issue?
