I am having a hell of a time trying to get XWing 1998 running smooth on Windows 11. It seems to work ok up until you start a mission - the video and music is extremely laggy. Can anyone help me in troubleshooting?

Yes, got the same issue, and the keyboard is not responding... The workaround I found (!) is to play the 1993 version.

For the 1998 version, I must play the software rendering as the Direct3D version seems to crash!
