...sometimes.

When I first start the game, sometimes it won't move at all, so I can't choose my pilot and I have to alt-f4 out.

Sometimes when I go to a new "room" in game, it does the same thing, and again, I have to exit.

Sometimes when I get out of a mission, again, no movement, alt-f4.

So, basically it either works fine, or it doesn't work at all. The mouse BUTTONS still work, because it will click something if it happens to be hovering over something, otherwise, no movement.

Skipping the cut scenes may be a factor, as it seems to not work more often when doing that (hitting the space bar) but it still does it other times as well. Rather frustrating.

Running 64-bit Win 7, installed to C:\GOG Games\STAR WARS - X-Wing (1998). Removed UAC and running as administrator.

I have SOLUTION:
Official game shortcut is broken and game doesn't work properly. Launching the game from TIESTART.EXE solve every issue with mouse and keyboard. GOG shame on you!
To solve colour issue please install

Thanks Amiga4ever, that seems to work. The color fix works for the most part as well.

Not sure what GOG needs to fix with their game launcher, but it is all but unusable for me. Glad the original launchers are included.

I was having problems with the keyboard as well. Thanks for the fix Amiga4ever. That worked. GOG really needs to fix these issues.
