Hi guys
I have the XWA Upgrade pack and the new dll etc. Going to sort out the 60fps fix too.
Interested in this feature though. There is a nice video on youtube that I can't post a link to. It is the XWA Upgrade '20 years in the making' video. The XWAU section is later in the video.
What I really like is that while targeting the enemy ships, the 'head-look' sort of 'floats' around, following the target as the crosshair gets closer to the target. It looks super realistic and gives a great sense of motion as the pilot's head follows the ship around, rather than the head unrealistically locked to the crosshair.
Now here is my question:
-- is this some setting in the original game, or in an upgrade mod, such that when an enemy is targeted one can choose to let the head-look to freely track the target, up to reasonable limits (i.e. don't turn the pilot's head all the way round if the target is behind)
-- or is it some kind of actual IR head-tracking technology that the guy making the video has, and what we are watching is his real head movement?
Thanks!
