Hi all,

I'm playing the 1998 version with a 360 controller. The controls work except for the fire button. On top of that, neither the mouse button or ENTER fire the weapons. Also, at one point last night the game did let me fire, but now, it doesn't, again. Any ideas about this and how to fix?

Ok, so I assigned the fire button to A in the joystick configuration. That worked. I shut down the computer and it still works after restart. Odd thing is that I did the same configuration yesterday, but it seemed to have forgotten it today, I'm guessing. I was reading the post about the game not keeping settings and giving random controller settings, so maybe that's the explanation. Still, the fire button is the only one affected, for me.

I'm having the same problem. Or a very similar one since I'm only using Mouse control.

After diverting power from Lasers (effectively depleting the power reserve for that) I cannot fire lasers ever again even if the reserve is made full again. And I've waited for the Laser recharge process but still nothing.
