Can someone here in admin make sure I am able to post links to relevant websites ???
Thank you.
For all of you who would like to upgrade the looks of the craft in XVT instead of XWA here is a website, where you can download different models:
xvtedicion.es/ingles/descargas/ct/c_ct_ing.php?id=14
Do not forget to check out the download sections:
If you own XWA you can easily convert models from XWA so they can be used with XVT using the OPTECH program.
Another nice site where you can download files and patches for XVT is here:
www.emperorshammer.org/patcharchive.php?cat=2&plt=25
copy all relevant files to the IVFILES folder in your XVT installation and overwrite if prompted.
Be careful when downloading files as some are compatible with XVT and some with BOP. I recommend not using XVT but always playing BOP.
Last but not least, since I did not like the 'fat looking" YT-1300 transporter, I made the following conversion for myself, and I'm just sharing it here with the community. Screenshots are no longer there on the original post, but are included in the zipfile and in this post.

Top one is the fat version of the YT-1300 found on the website at the beginning of this post, bottom one is my version that looks more like the movie version of.
You will need to use the 3D acceleration patch for this to work. You can find it here:

Enjoy !
PS. I apologize to everyone since I cannot post links you will have to copy them manually to make them work.
Thank you.
