Hey folks, I've already bought the game and can't wait for my childhood 2.0 to begin after work tonight. I do have a few questions, though:

One of the perks of being an adult this time around is that I can afford adult toys -- specifically, the Saitek X-55 RHINO HOTAS joystick/throttle combination. Does anyone know if it's compatible with TIE Fighter?

And, probably a more important question:

I've seen some others mention iMUSE, but I'm looking for confirmation - does the 1994 version of the game still contain iMUSE? This is pretty much critical to my enjoyment of the game. I'm aware that the 1998 version had it removed, but that was never the version of the game I played anyways. If the 1994 version is the version that I remember in it's entirety, then I'll be set.

Take a look for my post. I managed to setup a profile for the X52. Obviously it's not quite the same stick but it may give you a good starting point. Most of it worked out of the box.

Yes, it has iMUSE intact.

TychoCelchuuu: Yes, it has iMUSE intact.
Thanks!

I found out that while the 94 version has iMuse, it has the lower quality voice files and seems to be missing one of the campaigns from the collector's CD rom, so, while I've bought this anyways, I'm going to stick with DOSBOX for now...

...configuring my X55 is going to be a chore, though.
