Hi guys,

can anyone help me in one special problem please? I can play X-Wing and TIE Fighter perfectly with my keyboard and joystick. The only that bothers is that I cannot use the right shift-key from my keyboard in order to transfer energy to laser/shields. I always need to let the joystick go, use the left shift-key (which works perfectly) and the f9/f10-buttons.

I would appreciate a hint how to get also the right shift-key working :-)

Thanks a lot for your ideas...

There are single buttons for that purpose. You can use ' and ; to switch energy from cannons to shields and vice versa. Depending on your keyboard layout, these keys may correspond to some others on your keyboard, but they are always immediately to the left of Enter and below 1/3 and 2/3 speed setting keys. For instance, on my keyboard (Bosnian layout), these keys are ć and č. That's why many people overlook them. Shift+F9 and F10 are extremely unwieldy when playing. Hope this helps you.

Thanks a lot! That helped :-) Parallel, I have installed X-Wing on Windows XP emulated on my Mac. The funny thing is that the right shift-key works there :-)
