Hey, that stream yesterday was awesome. I've been trying to stream the Windows version of the game myself, but haven't had any luck. Might anyone know the program and associated settings Quill used to record the game so wonderfully?

Thanks!

DosBox has some settings to record gameplay.

1994 or 1998 version?

That's for 1994 version, sorry.
Does DOSBox also stream? I'll have to try the video thing.

For recording I usually use Open Broadcaster Software, but for older programs sometimes I have to use Nvidia's Shadowplay (which works with X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, but for some reason not X-Wing Windows 95). Even FRAPS is having issues with it, which is my last resort program, typically.

I ended up using Shadowplay in desktop mode for recording for some Let's Play videos, although admittedly this was the '95 Collector's CD via dosbox. With the 60fps h.264 recording and even at the lowest bitrate setting, I think it looks pretty reasonable and the file sizes are very manageable.
