I have a Thrustmaster Hotas X, which does seem to work with the game. It works, I can fire, etc. But I can't remap the buttons, which is a bit annoying.

I have found the settings menu where I can remap, but nothing happens when I try. When I press a button, it gets highlighted in the menu, but it won't let me remap.

This is the 1998 version on Win 7. Any suggestions?

Nevermind, I figured it out. It was just incredibly clunky.

First, click the joystick button you want to remap, then mouseclick on the button you want to change it to.

You can also do it like this:

1. press desired button on joystick
2. press key on keyboard

that's a lot faster than mousing around.
Unfortunately for me when I press a joystick button it overrides the mapping for all joystick keys. No matter what I do I end up with everything mapped to the one button, so I can either have the trigger or the hold to roll on axis not both (imo they are the most critical ones)

I am using a Logitech Extreme 3D PRO
