I have the following profile configured in Joy2Key:

It clearly works in Windows, since if I open notepad, various mappings I've put will "type" into notepad. However, when I start the Tie Fighter game at the directory in my screenshot, these mappings I've made in Joy2Key don't work. It's like Joy2Key isn't running at all in Tie Fighter remastered.

My copy is the steam copy, but I'd expect it to be similar to GOG's version. Has anyone run into this? Solutions?

Regardless of whether I launch the game from steam, or directly from the .exe itself, the problem persists.

Are you sure that what you specified in the profile is the correct running executable?

Because i kind of remeber, for XW vs TIE, that the starting program was just a stub for the actual executable file, which was under a different name; since TIE95 uses the same engine, it might be the same issue here... launch the game and check with Task Manager what is the actual process name.
