I have read many entries on joystick drift in the forums and the solutions regarding changing the configuration settings (already fixed apparently in my version) are not relevant to the issue. I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick and a Logitech Performance MX mouse.

When I launch via DOSBox, it doesn't recognize the joystick during the prompts to calibrate.

When I launch directly the joystick calibration recognizes the joystick and goes through the calibration process. But when I get to the game and the game menu, the joystick drifts all the way right and can't use the mouse or joystick without it drifting hard to the right.

Haven't even gotten into gameplay yet. Any help would be appreciated.

This is for the 95 CD version.

Thanks!

Try editing the Dosbox .conf with notepad:

[joystick]
timed=false

There is still a problem with the game engine in the DOS version though, where the craft will be pushed away when pointing the nose of the craft completely up or down, it's most noteble in the training sections. This is a limitation of the game engine and cannot be solved AFAIK.

Timed parameter is already set to false. After I installed these titles and my Logitech joystick, I started getting IRP errors and now my desktop has to be wiped and OS reinstalled, so this is on the back burner for now.
