I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, with a Thrustmaster Hotas X joystick. The stick is the only device connected to my computer other than keyboard/mouse/Wireless. The stick is also set as my preferred device. I can hop on other games like Descent that I have purchased from gog.com and they work just fine.

X-wing and Tie Fighter both have this issue.


Any ideas?

Are you playing with the Dosbox old version or the newer Windows ones?

I have a Thrustmaster T.16000M and it is instantly recognised and mapped by both X-wing and Tie Fighter 98 editions. Dosbox is a bit more of a struggle with joysticks.
