Just picked up the game, and noticed I can't remap the controls for my joystick in game. I looking at the in game controls and my joystick button 1 is assigned to at least 5 settings. 1 of which is eject, so on the training mission trying to shoot at the container I just ejected.

Anyone have any ideas or solutions please let me know. I really wanna play this game again.

Which of the two versions of the game you have problems with, DOS or Windows?

I am using the Windows version, the 1998. I also am using my "CH fighterstick". It is USB if that matters.

I don't know why the trigger activates so many functions but you can use 3rd party software like JoyToKey to map keyboard commands to the joystick buttons.
