I've had the CD rom ver (1998) of TF for a while and now the GOG ver. In both games I can access Battles 1 to 4 but no more. In the missions folder of the GOG ver I can see tie missions from 13 battles. In my cd ver I can see the same. How can I play the rest of these missions? It's driving me mad. Any help gratefully received. Cheers from an old online xvt player.

You have to complete one of the 4 battles in order to unlock Battles 5 and 6, completing Battle 5 or 6 will unlock Battle 7 and so on. You can look it up in the strategy guide accessible from your GOG library.

Cheers. Thanks so much for that. Must be 20 yrs since I last played it. Looking forward to xvt::} When I originally played TF there were only the 4 battles. The expansions passed me by as I went xvt.. Gonna start again b4 xvt comes out.

Don't forget: you can use TIE Fighter Workshop to create a pilotfile that has battles completed :)
